Welcome to Your 2027 Apex Benefits Guide

At Apex Benefits Partners, our promise is simple: where clients come first. Every day, we advocate for the businesses we serve and fight for their employees as if they were our own. We hold ourselves to that same standard at home. Just as we put our clients first, the benefits we offer our people put you and your family first—a best-in-class package designed to protect your health, support your family, and strengthen your financial future.

One reset date

Your medical deductible and your dental annual maximum both reset on January 1 with the calendar plan year, so planned care is easy to time.

Our approach to benefits is rooted in the same core commitments we make to every client:

Transparency First

No fine print and no surprises. Every contribution, cost and plan rule is laid out plainly, so you always know what you’re paying and why.

Data-Driven Decisions

Our plans are built on real claims data and market analysis—the same rigor we bring to every client—so your coverage fits how our people actually use it.

Year-Round Partnership

Support doesn’t end after open enrollment. We’re here on Monday morning, mid-year and whenever life changes, not just at renewal.

Employee Advocacy

When you have a claim issue, we’re in your corner. You get the same advocacy we provide to every client’s employees.

Strategic Access

You shouldn’t have to settle for second-tier benefits. We give our people the tools and programs Fortune 500 employers rely on.

Long-Term Thinking

Your benefits are designed for your long-term health and financial wellbeing, not just this plan year.

Don’t leave this on the table

Employer-funded dollars

Apex contributes to your health accounts and wellness — the amount depends on which medical plan you choose.

HRA — $2,000 / $4,000

Funded by Apex on the PPO $4000 and HMO $4000 plans — 50% of your deductible. $2,000 for employee-only coverage, $4,000 for all other tiers.

HSA — $800 / $1,600

Funded by Apex on the PPO Saver plan only, every paycheck: $30.77 for employee-only coverage, $61.54 for all other tiers.

Wellness dollars — up to $1,400

$250 Apex wellness reimbursement, up to $300 in Blue Cross fitness and weight-loss reimbursements, up to $450 for completing wellness activities, and up to $400 through ahealthyme Rewards.

Some of these are sequenced rather than stackable, and several carry conditions. See the wellbeing pages for what each one actually requires.

Before you choose a plan, know this

The HRA and the HSA are not both available on every plan. Choosing the PPO Saver expecting HRA money, or the HMO expecting HSA funding, means an annual election you generally cannot undo. The spending accounts differ too — a full FSA on the PPO $4000 and HMO, a Limited Purpose FSA on the PPO Saver.

Ask Scout

Not sure where to look? Ask a question in plain language — “what is my deductible?”, “how much vacation do I get?”, “which account comes with my plan?” — and Scout will find the answer in your plan documents and show you where it came from.
