One reset date
Everything runs on the calendar year. Your medical deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, dental maximum, FSA elections and HSA contribution limits all reset on January 1.
Worth knowing if you are timing dental work against a medical deductible you have already met, or deciding how much to put in an HSA.
When you can enroll or change coverage
When you are newly hired
You elect coverage when you become eligible. Elections are made in Paylocity.
At open enrollment
Once a year you can change plans, add or drop dependents, and reset your spending account elections.
After a qualifying life event
Marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, a dependent change, or loss of other coverage lets you make changes mid-year — within a limited window.
The election window is short and missing it means waiting until the next open enrollment.
